This past month, Bill Seigh (the long-term Director of Facilities Maintenance) retired. I began the search immediately and interviewed six candidates for the position, some internal and some external. These candidates were narrowed to two, and they interviewed with the department director team who they would be working with. Through this process, I am pleased to announce that Marvin Lunsford has been chosen to lead the maintenance team here at Bay Village. He has over a dozen years of senior care experience and looks forward to meeting everyone as he travels throughout the campus.
I am also pleased to announce that TLC Salon Management Services has been brought on board to manage the beauty salon here at Bay Village. Holly Munck is the managing partner of this salon. Many of you will know her as a former beautician here on campus. She plans on keeping many of the hairstylists on board. She comes to Bay Village with many years of experience managing salons in Colorado.
Fall is now upon us. Sheila’s parents were recently here visiting us from Maryland for her birthday and they enjoyed a wonderful meal in Bay Village’s dining room. What I like about living in Florida versus Maryland is that I won’t have to be out raking leaves during this time of year. Enjoy the fall season!
