November has arrived on our campus and the construction on the campus is in full swing. It has been two months now that construction has been happening. Third floor roof deck looks a lot different, poolside café has had its windows removed, a temporary hallway has been constructed for people to get back and forth to assisted living, the Palms Event center has started, and the twelfth floor renovation work has begun. It is a busy time on campus with all of this activity going on. I have heard many positive comments from residents about seeing the changes occur and enjoying watching the construction take place. Just down the street, The Tides construction is also moving along nicely. By the time you read this, the dry wall will be in place inside The Tides. The chiller and backup generator have arrived and are secured in their locations. I was at The Tides the other day and there was over 30 workers present, everyone very busy with their tasks.
Thanksgiving is later this month and everyone on the Bay Village campus can be thankful that overall the campus has done very well during this pandemic. Everyone rolled with all the changes that have occurred here on the campus over the past 17 months, but these were necessary in order to keep us safe from the virus. Thank- You.
I wish you and your family the best during this Thanksgiving season.
